About Steven and Brenda
Steve and Brenda Bachman are a pastoral ministry team here at Manson Mennonite Church.
They came to Manson from Middlebury, Indiana where they have lived for the several years. While there, they have served in various forms of leadership at Life Spring Community Church, including preaching and teaching, marriage counseling, life coaching, small group leaders, and being elders.
They have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. Son, Jesse, and wife Emily and daughters, Mikah and Kate, and a son Benjamin, who reside in Oviedo Florida. Son, Kyle, and wife Amanda and daughter, Annie and her husband Austin, all living in Indiana.
Steve has a passion for sports and a love of coaching. These two passions are evident as he incorporates sports analogies in his preaching and teaching and overall leadership style. Steve loves hanging out with people over a cup coffee/meals and he enjoys spending time with friends, especially when a deck of cards is involved. Steve loves to see people thrive in their giftings and be all they can be in Christ.
Brenda loves spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She loves to go on walks with friends, and she loves reading a good book. She has a passion for prayer and mentoring other women. Before going full time with Time to Revive she was a nurse/Diabetes educator for 36 years.
Steve and Brenda worked for an organization called Time to Revive for 4 years before coming to the church here. Though they are not officially a part of this ministry currently, they are still connected and bring what they have learned about outreach and discipleship to our community here. Their heart 's cry is to see Revival come to this area.
Steve and Brenda both graduated from Eastern Mennonite University which is also where they met. Steve grew up in Pomeroy, Iowa while Brenda grew up in Orriville, Ohio.
