About Steven and Brenda

Steve and Brenda Bachman will be joining us in September as a pastoral ministry team.

They come to Manson from Middlebury, Indiana where they have lived for the past 36 years.  While there, they have served in various forms of leadership at LifeSpring Community Church, including preaching and teaching, marriage counseling, life coaching, small group leaders, and being elders.

They have 3 grown children and 2 beautiful granddaughters.  Son, Jesse, and wife Emily and daughters, Mikah and Kate, who reside in Oviedo Florida.  Son, Kyle, and wife Amanda and daughter, Annie and her husband Austin, all living in Indiana.

Steve has a passion for sports and a love of coaching.  These two passions are evident as he incorporates sports analogies in his preaching and teaching and overall leadership style.  Steve loves hanging out with people over a cup coffee/meals and he enjoys spending time with friends, especially when a deck of cards is involved.  Steve loves to see people thrive in their giftings and be all they can be in Christ.

Brenda loves spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughters.  She loves to go on walks with friends, and she loves reading a good book. She has a passion for prayer and mentoring other women.  Before going full time with Time to Revive she was a nurse/Diabetes educator for 36 years.

The past 3 years Steve and Brenda have served with a ministry organization called Time to Revive.  The ministry travels to different cities across the nation where they work at bringing churches together and equip them to share the gospel in their communitites.  Steve and Brenda’s specific role in the ministry is working with married couples.

Steve and Brenda both graduated from Eastern Mennonite University which is also where they met.  Steve grew up in Pomeroy, Iowa while Brenda grew up in Orriville, Ohio.

We welcome them to our community and hope that you have the opportunity to get to know them as well.
